Wearing of Face Masks
The Government says wearing a cloth face covering is recommended in situations where it is difficult to practice social distancing such as in shops or on public transport.
However, the Lancet Journal published a study showing that wearing of face masks decreases the spread of the killer bug by up to six times.
These studies have led Professor Luke O’Neill of Trinity College, to believe that face masks should become mandatory in Ireland.
